The Jandy Ray-Vac is absolutely silent as it glides underwater seeking out debris. The powerful venturi-action vacuums and captures the dirt, leaves and floating debris and traps it within the cleaner's body. Trailing behind the cleaner head are powerful line jets and a whip hose that agitate and sweep througout the program cycle. This dislodges and draws the fine dirt and dust particles out of the pores and crevices of the plaster surface which can then be removed by the filter system.
The Ray-Vac is commonly installed utilizing the existing filtration system but is also available with an optional booster pump. It operates great under solar covers and comes with translucent hoses that stay underwater. The cleaner's unique shape allows it to reach areas of the pool that many other cleaners miss, such as ladders, stairs, and corner areas.
The Ray-Vac collects dirt and leaves by a screen inside the transporter head through the venturi vacuum action. There are no expensive gears and turbines to wear out, and, because the Ray-Vac traps debris in its own compartment, there are no clogged skimmers or pump baskets that can overwork the filtration system. Package includes head, hoses, and a speed adjustment kit.
